The name of this organization is The UW-Whitewater Belly Dance Club

The purpose of this organization is to provide a recreational club that seeks to promote, learn about, practice, and to eventually perform all types of belly dance.

Membership is open to all currently enrolled UW-Whitewater students; we will also extend membership privileges to non-students after an interview conducted by two of the club’s officers.

A member of the UW-Whitewater Belly Dance Club will receive a receipt from the Redeemer (or Redeemer’s deputy) when dues are paid.

Privileges of Membership include:

  • Admission to every practice that features a guest teacher;
  • Automatic inclusion to the Club’s Update and Announcement email list;
  • Voting eligibility for regular officer’s elections and constitutional amendments;
  • Performance rights at fun Club events;
  • Borrowing rights to Club Costumes and Accessories (with deposit);
  • COOL Membership certificates and/or Membership Cards

Non-refundable Membership fees are as follows:

  • Per Semester: $10
  • Summer Session: $5
  • Regular Academic Year: $20
  • Full Year: $25

Meetings are held every Thursday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Kachel Center in the Greenhill Center of the Arts.
