Introduction

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Bowling Club, supported by the University Center Recreation Center, represents UW-Whitewater in regional and national intercollegiate bowling competitions. The club began in the mid-1960's and was a charter member of the Big 6 Conference. That conference has now evolved to become the Wisconsin Collegiate Bowling Conference (WCBC). UW-Whitewater is a powerhouse in the conference and is consistently one of the top contenders for both the men's and women's divisions of the conference each year. The team is sanctioned by College Bowling USA. All members are sanctioned with ABC, WIBC, or YABA.

The Bowling Club is part of the UW-Whitewater Club Sports Program. The team's goal is to perform up to its highest potential. Team members accomplish this, at an individual and group level, by practicing and learning as much as possible about the sport. This includes both the physical and the mental parts of the game.
