About Us

Text Box: The Whitewater Cycling Team was established in 1992-and has come a long way since then. We compete in the Midwest Collegiate Cycling Conference (online at www.mwccc.org) governed under USA Cycling. The mountain bike season is in fall, cross season in late fall, and the road season is in spring. Races are held in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

The team is open to any student attending UW-W. The cycling team is an established, and recognized club sport by the University. We have organized group rides, casual rides, and encourage people to try racing. Bring your love of cycling with you to UW-Whitewater. We meet every Monday evening, 9:00 p.m. in McGraw 117 (UW-W Campus).

We also host/volunteer at three cycling races a year. The first being the Fall Color Festival in fall, the Cross Race in late fall, and the summer road race-usually over the 4th of July weekend. All three events serve as fundraisers for the team.
