On-Campus Polling Location Passes!

Tuesday, February 6, 2007, Whitewater Student Government with the assistance of UW-Whitewater administration successfully passed the relocation of District 2's polling location from the Old Armory to the University Center's Hamilton Center!! This is effective immediately, and will be utilized for the Spring 2008 Presidential Elections.

A huge congrats goes out to Paul Sanchez who proposed this and did much of the logistic footwork, alongside the support of WSG, Associate Chancellor Dr. Barb Jones, and the students who signed the petition (which yielded 688 signatures in a single week), or appeared at that night's City Council meeting.

Once again, thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible!!

~Chris Connar
